This Shasta is here to have a new (straight) axle put on to replace the original drop down axle. While it is here it will have the propane system replaced, and the new owner will be doing the rest of the renovation herself.

Old drop axle removed, getting ready to install new axle & leaf springs.
Much to our surprise, the hardware for the hangers was a different than normal size, so we had to cut off the old hangers and weld on new ones. Years ago there wasn't much standardization in trailer parts, manufactures just used whatever they had laying around.
Forward new hanger on left side. 4 new hangers total, with new hanger bolts, u-bolts etc. Every part of the suspension was replaced.
The axle is in and the trailer is on the ground with it's new 15 inch tires. It was too dark to take a picture. I will tomorrow.
New axle and new wheels, the trailer sits about 5 1/2 inches taller.

The old power inlet plug was falling apart.

New copper line from stove to new regulator on tongue
Using a flaring tool to flare the copper line where it will join the regulator. Here you see I have place protective sheathing over the copper line.
New tank hold down threaded rod
New regulator, "pig tail hoses", regulator holding bracket, threaded tank hold down rod, and hold down bracket. Tanks were installed only for a operation and leak check purpose.
