3 Removed the water heater to access the plumbing, and to bench check the unit.
5 New manifold in trunk area. This is where city water, or water from the fresh water tank branches out to the left & right side of the trailer, as well as the water heater. Here you see 3 separate check valves to keep all the water flowing in the right direction. The "ball" valve is just a cut off for the toilet. If on a trip the toilet had an issue, you can isolate it and finish the trip without losing the rest of the water system.
6 Pressure testing the hot water heater.
8 Heater fired up easily. Here however, you can see the flame needs adjusted, more orange than blue.
9 There, that looks better. It took about 40 minutes to heat 10 gallons of water, then it shut down and returned to just pilot light as it should. Internal pressure rose 8 p.s.i. during heating process, which is fine.
10 New plumbing to back side of water heater. By pass built in for winterizing purposes, or if a leak necessitated isolating the water heater.
11 New shower assembly. The old one was hard plumbed with copper and not easily or securely compatible with the pex. It was more cost effective to replace rather than modify.
12 Back side of the new shower faucet assembly.
13 Behind left wheel, some welding could use to be done here.
14 Left rear axle, small amounts of pitting. All 4 spindles were pitted like this.
