Just Conan When I tried to populate this album with photos, I realized that Conan was such a big part of our lives that there pretty much are no photos of just Conan; he is in photos with everyone! So I share the one photo of just Conan - and even then, he isn't quite alone!
Conan was our first APBT. He was born on my birthday so I knew he was the one. Conan loved a good joke - and as long as everyone was laughing he didn't mind at all if the joke was on him.
Conan passed very quickly after Sonja did. I will always believe that she passed first so she could be there on the other side to greet him.

RIP Conan - 1994 - 2005
Conan was PTS due to increasing symptoms of renal failure. He was surrounded by his family and friends, and died peacefully. His last look, his last vision, was that of Sonja's daughter Ruby. Perhaps as he hovered in the ether it was his mate Sonja's face he saw instead, as Sonja had crossed the Bridge only 5 months ago.
We are comforted to know that he did not suffer, and that the timing was perfect -as far as timing chronic renal failure can be. We have it confirmed from the Doggy Psychic that Conan has indeed hooked up with Red Sonja, and they are on the spiritual prairie, running where pitbulls can truly run free. |
