This castle is completely in ruins. There is not a lot to see of it. However, it has a WONDERFUL visitor center. It is located right on the shore of Loch Ness so the beauty of the surroundings is breathtaking. It is also a very famous castle.... Legend has it that "Nessie" the Loch Ness monster can sometimes be seen from the castle.
