Unforgettable Spain and Portugal
| Returning to Spain after 17 years provided me the opportunity to relive memories of my very first trip abroad. It was a thrill to find the fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, right where I had left them! Our Madrid hotel was located within walking distance of the Prado, the Reina Sofia, the Thyssen-Bornemisza, and the Parque del Retiro. Our itinerary included Toledo, the AVE train to Seville, Barcelona, and Pamplona. A highlight was seeing the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. Including Portugal allowed me to add another star to my map of countries visited. |
