6am - campsite cooking breakfast - shortly after we broke camp the truck got stuck in the clay and we had to dig it out and get a lorry to help drag us clear!!

At Krak we were mobbed by 50+ Syrian  schoolgirls - sort of know what boy bands go through. Photos, autographs, questions galore - Valerie attempting to rescue me here. Paul and I got caught up for about half an hour until we managed to escape!
