Spain and Portugal, continued
| Leaving Frank O. Gehry's masterpiece behind, we continued to Burgos, Spain, visiting the Burgos Cathedral, burial place of El Cid and a World Heritage site. Along the "Wild Atlantic Coast" of Portugal, we visited various fishing villages, Portugal's two major cities Porto and Lisbon, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage site Sintra. Throughout the trip we enjoyed the regional wines: vino tinto, vino verde, cava, and port. |
