Southern Africa, concluded
Victoria Falls, known locally as "the smoke that thunders," provided limited spray, as the rainy season had not yet begun, but the expected rainbows did not disappoint us. We could see Zimbabwe just across the bridge. Also included was a visit to a rural school of 1,000 students. The tour ended in South Africa with visits to Johannesburg, Soweto, and Pretoria, the jacaranda city.
