The individual lights remind me of the robot thingy on both Flash Gordon and Star Wars that injects people (Flash and Han Solo respectively, IIRC!)

How lucky was I to spot this "photon monster" - reflections of the street lights on the water in Dubrovnik harbour - the "eye" to the top right of the picture is in fact a buouy type thingy hanging off the side of one of the boats that is just visible on the right edge of the picture!

This was another bird I had some good conversations with - I guess a Croatian variant of house sparrow but more colourful than the UK variety! It seemed intrigued by my conversations with the gull!
