 |  |  |  When you hit the original size of this photo, you can make out the painted flames! This is just my opinion, but it looks like they were painted on. You can see the texture of the fabric and a little blue poking through. The flames are also very uneven.
|  |  |  I also believe the circle was mostly painted, the 'chicken feet' are not, and neither are the flurs or center medallion.
|  |  |  |  |  |  |  |  Painting on the symbols with acrylic paint. It works pretty good and is flexible like the fabric. I'm going to try Blick to see what they have for fabric though :-)
