"COMMANDER U.S. MARINE CORPS FORCES CENTRAL COMMAND AND COMMANDING GENERAL I MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE WELCOMES YOU TO THE CHANGE OF COMMAND CEREMONY AT WHICH LIEUTENANT GENERAL THOMAS D. WALDHAUSER WILL RELINQUISH COMMAND OF U.S. MARINE CORPS FORCES CENTRAL COMMAND TO LIEUTENANT GENERAL ROBERT B. NELLER AND WILL RELINQUISH COMMAND OF I MARINE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE TO LIEUTANANT GENERAL JOHN A. TOOLAN, JR. ON 7 SEPTEMBER 2012 AT MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, CALIFORNIA"

Photographs are presented in order, beginning with the gathering of guests and concert by the band prior to the beginning of the ceremony which is described in the sequence of events in image #15. Image #16 shows the Adjutant on post just after "Sound Attention."

General James F. Amos, Commandant of The Marine Corps, and Mrs. Amos were among the many distinguished guests and General Officers attending the ceremony.
