Purchasing, Reserving, and Delivery
If you are considering purchasing a puppy from Paradise Valley Collies, please thoroughly read this information.
Price: Puppies are $1250.00 each. This is with limited AKC registration. All puppies are sold with limited registration. No puppy owner will be considered for full registration without careful consideration on our part. It is ultimately our decision after much conversation about your motives with a fully registered dog.
**Puppies should go to your home as close to 8 weeks of age as possible. This is the best time for your puppy to bond with you and they need to get away from their pack in order to do this. If you cannot pick up your puppy at 8 weeks of age, there will be a charge of $5 per day and if I administer an additional booster shot and dewormer it will be an extra $10. I will not charge you this fee if you are only a day or two from the 8 week mark.
**Paradise Collies reserves the right to deny the sale of any puppy at any time. Our duty is to our dogs. Our mission is to find the best homes for each and every one of our puppies.
Included in this price ($1,250): your new puppy, AKC registration papers (limited registration only), first shots, wormings+records for you, one year health guarantee from Paradise Valley Collies, a vet check, literature on training and caring for your new puppy, and a Life's Abundance dog food and treats sample.
*What is limited registration?

Limited Registration means that the dog is registered but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for registration.
A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a licensed or member dog show. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Tracking, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Herding, Lure Coursing, Agility and Earthdog.
**Ask us about our extended health guarantee if your puppy is kept on Life's Abundance Premium Pet Food.**
We strongly recommend that our puppies are kept on Life's Abundance puppy food when they go to your home. This will minimize stress and will increase the likelihood that your puppy will not have digestive issues due to the change in environment. If your puppy has digestive issues, we recommend feeding them Life's Abundance, water, and canned pumpkin and plain white rice.
Shipping: We can ship to most areas in the US. This will involve extra cost for flight ticket, crate, vet certification, travel expenses etc. - the complete price for flying one of our puppies is usually about $500-$550.
Delivery: We can deliver puppies to areas within certain states, or we can arrange a meeting.
Below are some examples of basic delivery or meeting charges. These do not cover all cities to which we are willing to travel. They are given for basic information. If you want info on what it would cost to deliver to where you live and it is not given here, just contact us. These prices may vary depending on the number of puppies going to that location.

Reserving a Puppy: To reserve one of our available puppies, we require a deposit of half the price of the puppy ($625 is half of $1250). The remaining amount would be due upon delivery in cash. Deposits on puppies are non-refundable. Deposits cannot be transferred to another puppy once the puppies are 4 weeks of age.
In the instance that we are taking deposits on an unborn litter, we require a deposit of $250 to hold your pick. These deposits are also non-refundable unless the dam does not provide the color or sex you are looking for. The deposit will be rolled to the next litter if the litter does not produce what you requested. Once you have chosen your puppy, you will send $375 to bring your paid amount to half of the puppy price.
Wish List: How does it work?
I have done a wish list in the past, but I would prefer that you just keep an eye on our website and/or Facebook page and place a deposit for your choice in our next litter.
*Deposits- If you are 100% positive that you would like a puppy from an expected litter (we have a due date on an upcoming litter but they are unborn), please email or call about sending a $250 deposit. This will hold your pick from an upcoming litter. This ensures that you get a puppy from one of our expected or planned litters. |
