Updated 4/8/11: Can't believe it's been over five years since I put this album up. I'm so very sad to say that on February 12th of this year, I was forced to make the terrible decision to help my beloved Remmy leave me. He had been terminal for 2 years with many ups and downs, but he let me know when it was time...as hard as that was for me to admit, and far harder for me to do. He was 14 years old and, though he is gone, I still wear his collar upon my wrist in memory of him and all the years we had together.

I lost my best friend that day--Precious Remmy, Mommy loves you and misses you so very much. Play with Poppy until we meet again on Heaven's golden shores...

My beautiful girl Holly is now 12 years old and she, too, is terminal, but is doing wonderfully well! I'm so blessed to still have her with me. She's lumpy and bumpy and takes meds every day, but she's happy and even though she's still in mourning a bit for Remmy, she seems content for the most part. Her only complaint is that she thinks she should get two greenies a day...and she's not above telling me or her Daddy that the other person didn't give her one.

Original Posts, January 2006:
Here are our babies. Remmy, the Rat Terrier, is 9 years old now. Holly, the German Shepherd mix, is now 7 years old. They're our babies...not dogs!
