AKC/UKC registered. When it comes to Shogun - well I am just in love. This dog thrives on dedication to his owner, and desire to please. He is always well mannered and sweet. When he moves it is poetry in motion. I couldn't be more proud of this lovely Rat Terrier bred and born here at Rosethorn. Shogun became a Champion at his first show, which was also his first time away from his home "Rosethorn". As with all our dogs Shogun is PLL clear. Proud to announce that Shogun's son Rock-E-Hill Tennessee won Best of Breed at the 2016 Westminster Dog Show and is now the number one Rat Terrier in the United States.

Get that tail up First time on the table. He was a perfect gentleman about getting his teeth checked and the once over by the judge. Shogun has confidence that the world will be kind and that he will always be a GENTLEMAN. It is his nature to be polite.
Great teeth Yep, she thought so also giving him best Dog.
Nice butt He knows when he is being admired.
He's gorgeous It was the last show on the last day and my boy and I were tired. As you can see he was still giving me all he could, and I admire his strength of character. I was getting cranky, but not Shogun. He is a trooper.

Shogun 10 mo. He's a happy boy. Having fun and playing around on his home turf. Rosethorn is what we call the 5 beautiful acres in the mountains near Yosemite National Park. It's the home of Rosethorn Terriers.
Shogun and sister Sidney 8mo. This brother and sister are both currently Champions. They are out of our queen "Call Me Angelina's Holy Roller" aka "Angie" and our king "Champion Bruce All Mighty" aka "Bruce".
Shogun 8mo. He is just naturally handsome. He is also the puppy babysitter. When we have puppies Shogun takes it upon himself to make sure they are all safe and sound. I think he can actually count. I've seen him do it to make sure all puppies are accounted for.
