enlarge 67KB, 640x480 60 Facing West to back fields.
enlarge 87KB, 640x480 61 Facing North pines are behind house.
enlarge 60KB, 640x480 62 Facing South to my neighbors farm.
enlarge 57KB, 640x480 63 Collapsed barn behind house facing West.
enlarge 59KB, 640x480 64 New barn on left, Annex Barn that did not fall on right.
enlarge 60KB, 640x480 65 North facing barn. I made the new doors in August and finished in September by myself from wood stored in the Annex Barn. The only help was to hang them which took about an hour. I made them on the back porch of my house and moved them myself with a dolly and my truck.
enlarge 64KB, 640x480 66 Door on ground was facing North and post leaning is one I'm adding the new boards to.
enlarge 73KB, 640x480 67 snow piles up on West back of barn which is fine because it's covered with a tarp, and has no windows or doors.
enlarge 62KB, 640x480 68 paddock closed off for Winter behind barn. There is one to the left (where the pine tree is) which is also closed off because it gets wet and drifted in, and I don't want Harry stuck in there. He has 3 other paddocks to the East to roam in for the Winter.
enlarge 69KB, 640x480 69 To my right is the wind break for the back of the barn. Some times the snow does pile up there, but not as often as the front did.
enlarge 47KB, 640x480 70 To give you an idea of the wind, and it's effects on the straps across the paddock opening, I put the straps up in October and by January they had dissolved into this. I ended up using binding and taping the rings so there is no metal to metal on screw eyes that hold them.
enlarge 61KB, 640x480 71 Behind the Annex barn facing West, the snow has drifted and in places is 4-5'.
enlarge 66KB, 640x480 72 Two lonely pines and an oak tree are the only break behind the Annex Barn.
