2010 Charlestown Founder's Day Dog Show
2010 Founder's Day Dog Show in Charlestown, IN - Sponsored by Moments Photography.

Thank Heavens I am not the official photographer, cause that would be terrible since I am just a step above not bad, lol!! I apologize for not having an even number of photos of each contestant. I promise it wasn't bias, I was just trying to get pics of everyone, so those I figured I didn't have good shots of, I took extra pics of to hopefully get at least one good one. Thanks!

6-20-2010 added some cropped close-ups of the dogs!!

Enlarge photo 6 Enlarge photo 7 Sophie and her mommy, Sharon. Sohpie escaped from Sharon's yard last week and Sharon posted on FaceBook asking everyone to post her info to their page and call her if they saw Sophie. Next morning, Izzy, a CHS student on the way to school called Sharon and said she was passing in front of Moments Photo (perhaps a mile or so from her home, but where Sharon works and takes Sophie with her every day) when she saw the truck behind her hit little Sophie! Sharon raced to the scene to find Charlestown Police Officer Wolfe blocking traffic on the highway in that lane with his patrol car so Soph didn't get hit again. He told Sharon to grab Soph and get in since he'd already called our wonderful town vet, Dr. Stahly, and alerted him that they were on the way! Thanks to the quick action of Izzy, Office Wolfe, and Dr. Stahly and his awesome staff, Sophie is alive and doing great if a little bit more attached to Mama than normal!
