Finaly the work above the water line was completed to the point where we felt confident in taking Perpetua away from the dock. So we scheduled a haulout to see what the bottom looked like, fix any problems (there are always some) and give her a new paint job. We had Tom & Kathy from Ahwahnee crew with us. Departure was at 06:30 to make the tides going out the entrance.
