August 2010 Carlisle Truck Show
62. August 2010 Carlisle Truck Show  (August 8, 2010)
Carlisle Pennsylvania is famous for it's car shows. I used to own several Opel GTs and I had to get parts from a place in California. They used to haul stuff across the country to vend at the Carlisle Sports Car show. Although I'd never been there, I'd read about it in reputable magazines, Like Hemmings Motor News, and Sports Car Graphic, so I decided that I should attend the Truckin' Nationals. This was a good decision on my part...

2010 Rhinebeck GoodGuys car show
63. 2010 Rhinebeck GoodGuys car show  (June 30, 2010)
Since I don'tlive in California, the majority of the car shows I attend are either lame or a rehash of stuff I've seen a million times before. Last year I attended the GoodGuys show in Rhinebeck, NY. It was so good, I've made it a yearly destination. Here's a small sample of the wheels that can be seen there.

Jockeying for shorts
66. Jockeying for shorts  (April 18, 2010)
One of the supervisors got me a gig doing an aluminum "lawn Jockey" for one of the racing stables. I think his motive was to make some points with the female trainer. No matter why, it's an extra projct to add tomy resume and hopefully plant a few bills in my pockets.

Good Guys Rhinebeck Show
70. Good Guys Rhinebeck Show  (June 27, 2009)
The Good Guys Car Show is one of the biggest in the Country. The Shows in California and Columbus Ohio being the monsters, but upstate New York gets their share every June. This year I got to go and got some shots of the entries.

Ess Ten
71. Ess Ten  (June 7, 2009)
I finally dug myself out of the financial hole I'd been living in, purchased a '94 Chevy S-10 pickup and immediately began thinking of ways to Kustomize it. Since I' moved in with my father who's an obsessive packrat, there's virtually no place for me to work on this project, making the job doubly tough.

Kitchen Pegboard
72. Kitchen Pegboard  (March 15, 2008)
Since I'm vacating my apartment, I've decided to fix it up, rather than leave it a complete wreck. For years I stared at an ugly pegborad that I put up, now I'm doing something about it.

Bathroom makeover
73. Bathroom makeover  (March 6, 2008)
A couple of years ago I had a my bathroom redone. Unfortunately the painters never heard of masking tape, screwdrivers, drop cloths or rags to wipe up spills. I had intended to redo the bathroom when I had some spare cash. That time never arrived, now that I've run out ofmoney and can no longer afford to live here, I'll leave the landlords with a gift by painting the bathroom myself.

What's up door?
74. What's up door?  (February 21, 2008)
A couple of summers ago, my landlord informed me that he wanted to redo my bathroom and it would take several days. I told him that I could not be without the use of a toilet for several days, and the only time the work could be done was when the Racing Season was in Saratoga. When I returned, the bathroom was completed, but the painters did a hatchet job. I decided to try and hide some of their blunders by painting over the drips and smears. This is my first attempt at creating a faux window.
