On my way back from vacationing in China, I managed to take care of some business in Hong Kong and Japan. Since it was my first trip to either location, I snapped a few photos.

My Hotel View From the Excelsior Hotel in downtown Hong Kong.
Downtown Hong Kong Man, this place is crazy!
The Noon Day Gun Every day at noon, they fire this gun. It helps everyone set their watches, I guess.
Stanley Beach Just a short bus ride from Hong Kong is a nice, but crowded beach. There are alot of beach activities available. Wish I would've brought by bathing suit!
Hong Kong's Star Walk Among the attractions is there walk of stars. A Bruce Lee statue is on the walk.
Shinto Shrine in Japan I visited a shrine near Mt Fuji with my friend Kurt and his family.
The Shrine We had to take a cable car to a small mountain top to get to this shrine. Very isolated.
On the beach near Mt Fuji Kurt playing with his daughter, Emily.
The story of the Pine Tree There's a fairly tale about this 650 year old pine tree. Check out the following photos for a description.
Hagoromo Read about the story here...
Karaoke - Japanese Style So, the REAL karaoke clubs come in the form of isolated booths, where only your group of friends can hear you make a fool of yourself. The Japanese would NEVER sing in a public place in front of others!
