Hong Kong and Japan
On my way back from vacationing in China, I managed to take care of some business in Hong Kong and Japan.  Since it was my first trip to either location, I snapped a few photos.

Every day at noon, they fire this gun.  It helps everyone set their watches, I guess.

Stanley Beach
Just a short bus ride from Hong Kong is a nice, but crowded beach.  There are alot of beach activities available.  Wish I would've brought by bathing suit!

The Shrine
We had to take a cable car to a small mountain top to get to this shrine.  Very isolated.

There's a fairly tale about this 650 year old pine tree.  Check out the following photos for a description.

Karaoke - Japanese Style
So, the REAL karaoke clubs come in the form of isolated booths, where only your group of friends can hear you make a fool of yourself.  The Japanese would NEVER sing in a public place in front of others!
