The VC1 top bow front left channel completed. Pictures showing rear bow and header. One side is complete except for the special shoulder bolts which are being made. Also started taking the header apart to straighten dents by drilling out spot welds.

The hinge on the right is a reproduction hinge I had cast from an original hinge on loan from Ernie Ongaro. Thanks to his generosity I now have all the components to finish my top bow set.

Removing VC1 rear springs

Removing rear spring head less bolt with home made puller. The process is to remove the grease zerk then set the pipe with the 3/8 X 24 bolt over the headless bolt and thread the bolt into the zerk hole and tighten the nut to extract the bolt back into the pipe. The clamping bolt that holds the headless bolt in place must be removed completely before you start thigtening the nut.
