I also included a picture of what remained of my header mirror which was the mounting stud. You can modify the reproduction mirror by cutting and tapping the mount for a screw and star washer |

Removing VC1 rear springs (February 18, 2012)Removing rear spring head less bolt with home made puller. The process is to remove the grease zerk then set the pipe with the 3/8 X 24 bolt over the headless bolt and thread the bolt into the zerk hole and tighten the nut to extract the bolt back into the pipe. The clamping bolt that holds the headless bolt in place must be removed completely before you start thigtening the nut. |
