We've enjoyed this litter so much! They are so spunky and playful, yet sweet and cuddly. We can't believe it's less than two weeks until they will go to their forever homes. They've been wormed at 2, 4 and 6 weeks of age and had their first vaccination at 6 weeks. They've had toenails trimmed very regularly and got their first bath at 6 weeks old. Sola has pretty much weaned them and they are very independently eating puppy kibble and lapping water on their own.
They are expected to finish in the 17-19 lb. range and be 14-1/2-15 inches tall when grown.

Lyric/Dillon Litter --ALL SOLD !!

Wow, it is hard to believe that these beauties are already almost old enough to go to their new homes. They are extremely alert and interact with humans brilliantly. They are now weaned from Lyric and are eating dry kibble and lapping water on their own. Their eyes still "sparkle" when they think that Lyric is going to let them nurse, but she knows they are big boys and girls now. They have been wormed 4 times now, had their first 6-way vaccinations, had numerous toenail trims and a bath. My husband and I both agree that these are some of the sweetest puppies we've ever had the joy of raising. It seems that all of them compete for human time and they love being talked to and held. And we believe there is something magical about the genetics between Lyric and Dillon, as these are some really nice puppies structurally. We think most or all of them would do well in the conformation show ring or agility competition. And of course, all of them will be perfect farm ratters, hunting companions or snuggle buddies for an individual or family.
They are expected to finish in the 22-23 lb. range and be 15 inches tall when grown.

Pattycake/Dillon Litter--ALL SOLD! Born 02/03/2010!!
ALL NINE PUPPIES HAVE NOW BEEN RESERVED
The time has flown and this bunch of nine beautiful puppies are now 6-1/2 weeks old. They are "chowing down" on food and drinking water on their own. They are no longer nursing. They have had their first 6-way vaccination, been wormed four times now, had three baths and had numerous toenail trims. They are playing, shredding newspapers and growing like weeds. Their individual personalities are really starting to emerge and they are such little comedians. We have enjoyed watching them develop and grow to this point.
We are very pleased with this litter! Please enjoy them with us!

6 WEEK UPDATE
This group is full speed ahead at 6 weeks of age! They are quite a rambunctious and energetic quintet! They are still nursing about twice a day, but are eating dry kibble like little pigs and lapping water on their own. Since they are in our home, we get to enjoy the comedy of all of their puppy quarrels and chatter. Nothing in the world cuter than puppies! They have been wormed at 2, 4 and 6 weeks of age. At 6 weeks, they also received their first 6-way vaccination. They've had baths and numerous toenail trims. Just a yummy chocolate bunch for sure.... :)
They are expected to finish in the 22-23 lb. range and be 16 inches tall when grown. The litter is dual registered with AKC-FSS and UKC.

Well after a long day of labor, Hazee has given birth to 7 healthy puppies-4 males, 3 females. We've posted a couple of shots taken within moments of the last puppy being born. We will not post individual pictures until mommy and babies get a couple of days of rest. There's a possibility that one or more of the "tan" sables that I have listed are in fact, heavily chocolate sabled. When their nose leather color fills in, we will know for sure.

Sola/Dan Litter --ALL SOLD! ALL SOLD!!
These three monkeys are so fun!! They've made much progress since the 4 week update. They've learned to lap water and crunch kibble on their own. Sola still chooses to let them nurse several times a day. She's a very good mother and is very protective of her babies. In this 2 week period, they've been introduced to several different sounds, surfaces, and people. They've been wormed for the third time, had another toenail trim, but still no bath. It hasn't been necessary as Mommy Sola still licks their fur off! They've been given their first puppy vaccination as of 11/06/2009. Not long now before they will be joining their new families. We're SURE that this trio will add life to their new homes!
We hope you enjoy the photo update. They were all wanting to play and so getting these pictures was not an easy task.
The litter was checked by our vet on 10/30/2009.
They are expected to finish in the 13-14 lb. range and be 13-14 inches tall when grown. The litter is dual registered with AKC-FSS and UKC. They are sired by Dan, UKC Champion and their dam, Sola is a UKC Grand Champion. Complete details on both parents below.

We're extremely pleased with the quality of this litter. We almost didn't cross these two adults, but we're very glad that we decided to go ahead and do it. Now, we just wish Pattycake had enough years left of breeding to possibly repeat it, but doubt that will ever happen. She's been a remarkable mom to this group! They were wormed at 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks, and 6 weeks. They've just received their first 6-way vaccination. They all currently have a perfect scissors bite. They've had their toenails trimmed weekly, so they're very used to their feet being handled. We're very excited to share these beautiful babies with their new families!!

The Lucy/Dillon babies are officially 6 weeks old. They've really changed alot since we last took pictures. They have been wormed at 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks old. They had their first 6-way vaccination today, November 21. They, along with Mommy Lucy, are in our home. They have been hearing many different sounds throughout the day from telephone, radio, TV, doorbell, vacuum cleaner, etc.
They are all eating solid food like big boys and girls and lapping water all by themselves. They also love to shred newspapers that we spread on the floor of their x-pen, little stinkers!

Hazee/Dillon-Litter 1-ALL SOLD!!

Six weeks have passed since Hazee gave birth to her and Dillon's babies. WOW! We've enjoyed this litter so much! They are in our home, so they are very accustomed to every day "human" sounds such as television, vacuum cleaner, telephone, etc. They are now eating three meals a day and lapping water like big kiddos. Hazee will still allow them to nurse about twice a day. She's a very protective mother, guarding their x-pen with her life! These boys and Butterfly are loads of fun. They bark, growl, play and we're very attached to them. There's not a shy one in the bunch!
Expected finishing size of puppies is 19-20 lbs. and 15-1/2 inches tall.

Tyra/Dillon Litter-ALL SOLD !!
ALL PUPPIES IN THIS LITTER HAVE BEEN SOLD!
Tyra and Dillon's babies are 8 weeks old!! Gunner (formerly Chip) went home last Saturday afternoon to be the spoiled and loved boy of Jes in Appling, Georgia. Lula (formerly Cricket) went home last Sunday to be the new spoiled and loved baby of our friend, Kathie, at Blue Granite Kennels in South Carolina. The remaining four monkeys will be with us one more week. Coby and Gem will fly home next Saturday morning and Cadee and Jake will be picked up here next Saturday afternoon. The litter has been wormed at 2 weeks, 3 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks and 8 weeks of age. They received their first 6-way vaccination on 10/26/08.
The four here went to the vet this morning and got great reports. No heart problems, fecal samples were negative for parasites, male testes palpable, scissors bite for all, and our vet said they were pictures of health!

Tyra/Westin Puppies--ALL SOLD! The Busy "B"ees!
Born 02/15/08
Well this swarm of cutie pies came buzzing in beginning at 5:45 p.m. on Friday evening, 02/15/08. The last one arrived right around midnight. All ten of them....and yes, there were 10 of them. Unfortunately, one of the females was too premature to develop her motor skill of sucking and she has passed away (as of 02/19/08). The remaining 9 are healthy, thriving and growing very quickly! They are already turning into chunky monkeys!
Tyra is being an angelic first time Mommy. God's amazing wonders found in Mother Nature continue to amaze us. We give him all the praise, honor and glory for these little ones. We praise the Lord for giving Tyra the strength to do it..all by herself. Of course, we helped, but she didn't need us. :)
We now have 3 girls and 6 boys. They are all either black/white or black/white/tan. Tyra marked six of her beautiful puppies with the traditional piebald look and Westin marked the other three of them with his almost full coat of color.
Please feel free to browse through their pictures. They're all very similar, so it's going to be quite a chore in the few days ahead just to tell them apart, not to count the rest of the joyous chores that come with raising a litter of puppies!

Look, Mom......We have all A's!!!
The arrival of these beautiful little ones is dedicated to Lisa Sands. There is no way that we would have been able to do this without the unselfish giving of her precious time and wealth of knowledge. She's been there every step of the way!!
We will forever be in debt to her for her kindness and generosity!
