Jace, the sire of this litter, has many accomplishments, some of which include: He is currently the UKC Number 1 Top Ten Rat Terrier, has won 9 Total Dog Awards, Ranked #2 in UKC Terrier Racing, and took Honorable Mention at the UKC National Specialty sponsored by ARTA in April, 2014. He only has one more major and will also be an AKC Champion. Quite impressive for a 2 year old boy! Our precious Tressy has a stunning temperament, phenominal prey drive and good conformation. She is a wonderful all around great and healthy girl. She is humbled to have such an accomplished boyfriend, but a tennis ball still impresses her more. LOL
We would like to note that Tressy gave birth to 8 puppies. We lost the smallest male. RIP Apollo.

Ever since these two have been very young, we've visioned this cross. They are such a great match in every way. We expect the offspring to weigh on average around 20-23 lbs. and be about 15-1/2-16 inches tall. The prey drive, intelligence, conformation and overall temperament will be excellent. These are two magnificent examples of the Rat Terrier breed.

Lyric and Gunner compliment each other very well, both in temperament and in physical conformation. Gunner has long legs and a more refined physique than Lyric. Lyric is a chunky monkey. She is solid muscle though. Since Gunner is a couple of inches taller than her, we are hoping that puppies will be middle of the road. Gunner's smaller ears will also tone down Lyric's larger ones in their offspring. On average these puppies should be 14-1/2 inches to 16-1/2 inches at the withers when they mature. Gunner goes to work with his owner and is used to meeting all kinds of people daily. Lyric is more reserved and distrusting by nature. Gunner's personality will give the offspring exactly the right balance. Both Lyric and Gunner have very nice movement and are structurally sound. We're excited to present these precious babies "X"Pressions of the Christmas Season Litter! All of them are bi-colors except for one, Xeno is a tri-color. We also have 4 natural bobtails in this litter. There were two born with full tails and they were docked at 3 days, along with all of them getting dewclaws removed.

It's with mixed emotions and excitement that we announce the birth of this litter. With no doubt whatsoever that this is the final litter for both sire and dam, it seems as though a chapter in our breeding program is ending much too quickly for us! Where does time go? Dillon was neutered on January 16, 2013 and has gone on to his new home in Gainesville, Georgia with Mr. Jack. Hazee will be spayed as soon as she weans this litter. They have both contributed so much to the advancement of this breed and are very deserving of the rest and relaxation. Hazee will continue to be the queen of our castle for as long as she likes! We're sure she will still do her part in educating and assisting with new puppies, even if they're not hers. haha
Expected finishing size of the Hazee/Dillon puppies is 18-22 lbs. and 15-1/2 inches tall.

Canyon and Tressy.....two beautiful, muscular Rat Terriers! Canyon is rugged, tough, and has a gorgeous red tan sable muscular physique. Tressy is a very pretty girl and sports a classic tri-color coat. Her muzzle and head are more refined and she is a slightly smaller package than Canyon. However, she is solid. She is is exuberant with humans, with loads of affection. Her prey drive is bar none! Just a real heart stealer if you know her!! Both of them are more "square shaped" and have very nice fronts and rears.
The average weight of these puppies when mature should be 22-24 lbs. and height should be around 15 to 15-1/2 inches tall at the shoulder.

Hazee and Canyon.....they are both beautiful dogs with strengths to offer each other to help this breed move forward for sure! Hazee's elegance will add just the right touch to Canyon's rugged, tough, and muscular physique. Both of them have excellent temperaments. This is one of the best matched pairs we've ever put together.

AFTER DNA RESULTS WERE RECEIVED ON EACH PUPPY, IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT CANYON IS YA DADDY! PEDIGREE HAS NOW BEEN POSTED IN THE ALBUM
And although we didn't plan this litter, the puppies are expected to be nothing short of phenominal. Dillon and Pattycake have produced very nice puppies together in the past....those who have gone on to mature into beautiful adult Rat Terriers and some even making their mark in show rings all over the United States.
Canyon is a very young sire. He and Pattycake have always been a match made in heaven when matching conformation to conformation, but we had just decided that Pattycake needed to retire from breeding. Obviously, she decided different. LOL
Regardless of the who the sire of each puppy turns out to be, we expect all the puppies will be good-sized standard Rat Terriers when full grown-expected to weigh in the 22-25 lbs. range and be 15-16 inches tall. (unless otherwise noted under their pictures)

A big shout out to our boy Canyon as he is a first-time sire! Good job Can-Man! Canyon compliments Lyric and Lyric compliments Canyon, both in temperament and structure. Canyon never meets a stranger and is very outgoing and trusting. Lyric is somewhat reserved and takes a while to warm up to humans, but once she does, you have a friend for life. Both are very muscular, but Lyric's facial features need the beautiful head and muzzle that Canyon can offer.
Lyric has a longer body and Canyon is more square, so the list just never ends with things that we feel make this couple so compatible.
The puppies will be good-sized standard Rat Terriers when full grown-expected to weigh in the 24-25 lbs. range and be 15-16 inches tall.

Hazee/Ransom Litter-ALL SOLD!!

We're very pleased with what we have seen in this litter. The litter weights have been the most consistent of any litter we've ever raised. These puppies are healthy, alert, human attentive, eager to learn and exceptionally blessed with beautiful structure. They will soon be joining their new families and we can only hope that they brighten their lives as much as their mom brightens ours. We're sure Janice feels the same way about their dad, Ransom.
We are overjoyed that our wonderful friend, Lisa at Southern Sands, will be taking a couple of these boys that will contribute further to both of our breeding programs.
This will be the only time that Ransom will ever sire a litter, so this is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime litter! His owner trains him for agility, and since the breeding for this litter, he has been neutered.
Ransom is owned by Janice Lipscomb in Mentor, Ohio and we are extremely thankful that she allowed us to make this cross.
They are expected to finish in 21 to 22 lb. range and be 15-1/2 to 16 inches tall when grown.

Expectations: 15 1/2 inches tall (give or take an inch), 23 pounds at maturity. Erect ears, very muscular builds and loads of prey drive. We look forward to a lot of versatility in this litter; tenacious farmhands, agility prospects, but most of all, loyal pets. These pups should have the health to do it all.
Hogan is owned by Virginia Wingate at Vendage Rat Terriers in Alabama and this breeding was done especially for her. She will "hopefully" be keeping a couple of these puppies.
