09 29 2012 ALR89 4th Annual BBQ (September 29th, 2012)| The American Legion Riders - Post 89 in King George held their 4th Annual BBQ and Bike Rally. Live bluegrass music was provided by the "Kicking Mules". All proceeds benefit the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program. A great time was had by all. The weather was absolutely spectacular. 09 24 2012 Funeral Escort (September 24th, 2012)Post 162 Auxiliary President and ALR Adjutant and Treasurer Jen Donohue's father John Lesile was taken from us in June. A Vietnam Veteran for US Navy he retired as Senior Chief. He also was Judge Advocate for Post 162 for many years and was made Judge Advocate Emeritus. Before his passing one of his final requests was to be escorted by ALR to his final resting place at Arlington Cemetery. So on behalf of our chapter and his family I am asking if you can attend please see the information below to make his final wish a reality.
