I was able to attend my first JRTCA trial this weekend! I helped with paperwork, did the ring stewarding for conformation, and was able to run my dogs in Go to Ground, Terrier Racing, and in the Barn hunt!
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any pictures of the Jack Russells in attendence as I was kept pretty busy! But, I hope you enjoy the few photos that I got.
If any terrier folks are looking for something to do that weekend every year at the Home of the Jackalope, Douglas, Wyoming, give me a shout out! New folks are always welcome, even if they don't have a Jack Russell.

1 Setting up for the weekend.
2 The nice shady spots were taken pretty quickly.
3 The chairwoman's tent, and where I spent most of my weekend hanging out, gathering ribbons and marking in the book.
Can you believe that they put me in charge of that!?! Thank goodness everyone was so patient, and by Sunday I had learned most names and dogs. In one of the classes though, there were over 10 dogs, and I had to have Erin take over because I would have made a mess of it.
4 The racing area.
5 Ron Haar setting up the barn hunt. See the orange fencing? That's where Tracker decided he needed to go to grab some rabbits rather than find the rat!
6 Erin - she doesn't look happy that the lure got stuck!
7 Terrier Stakes Racing. It's the only photo that my husband got of the dogs running! That black blur is Tracker out front.
8 The High Point prizes for Saturday.
9 The ribbons and the beautiful plaques that Erin made for prizes.
10 Ron, our announcer for the weekend. He was a total blast, and his running commentary made standing in the sun all day almost worth it!
