70 Fragile Power Pole 16 February 2013. The notice on the pole says it has been treated for termites, but I never feel safe walking past the crumbling wood. Sent this photo to the power company, and they quickly replaced the pole and cross-beams.
| 71 Chester caught and killed this Rat 13 February 2013. Rats have become a common problem in this area. Chester dived in between my pot plants, caught and killed this Rat!
| 72 A Majestic Landmark 5 February 2013. This Norfolk Pine stood proud and tall in the next street. It served as a roost and nesting place for local birds. I have watched the Peregrine Falcon feeding chicks in a nest at the very top. New owners of the property had the tree removed today -- another landmark gone forever!
