Parker did not play High School baseball this year as he opted to go out for track. His club team this year is the Seattle Dodgers Red U18. Evan was over the age limit for Little League and he plays for the Seattle Dodgers Red U13 team. Addi was in Teeball, and her team was the Blue Rocks.

Usually the last week in July has the best weather of the year. Unfortunately, it was a rather cold windy day for Addi's party. However, that did not dampen anyone's spirits as a good time was had by all. The playground was awesome and the food and refreshments were great.

We spent the day celebrating Avery's Birthday. She had a great time opening her presents and following 47 (Greg 1968 & Andrew 1984) years of family tradition, getting "hands on" her first birthday cake in our kitchen in the red wooden high chair.

For the second year in a row, Greg invited me to stay with him at a cabin that he had rented on Fish Lake. Fish Lake is near Lake Wenatchee near Stevens Pass . It was a very nice cabin with a good view of the lake. We had a good time. We rented a boat at the Cove Resort and braved the choppy waters for a day's fishing. Our catch consisted of several trout and perch. Greg was a gracious host and grilled some wonderful steaks.
It was fun to sit on the deck and watch the Ospreys, Eagles, Crows, and Stellar's Jays.
