TIBIDABO IS MOUNTAIN TOP FUN
Our final Barcelona album is devoted to a wonderful half or full day of fun and just about the best mountain top view of Barcelona one can find.
We took an express bus from Placa Catalunya directly to Tibidabo. Many take the colorful blue trolley to the funicular car that races to the mountain top. Tibidabo offers a real amusement park with all sorts of roller coasters and other rides. We did not use the park. Without entering the park one may have a great lunch or picnic, do a few rides like the small but must do ferris wheel, take in the fabulous views, hundreds of miles in all directions and visit the mountain top church. The latter has an elevator that allowed us to reach the ultimate viewing height with 360 degree views.
Some shots, like the ferris wheel, were taken from video so that the still picture quality suffers.
