Our Florence penthouse apartment
Steve's usual thorough apartment hunt research found us the best of our apartment finds in Europe to date. Our first 'penthouse' apartment came in well within our $100/day budget at about $85/day.

After the elevator arrives at the fourth floor a short flight of stairs took us to the building's 'only' rooftop penthouse apartment. The apartments view was priceless and had us gazing morning and night at the nearby famed Duomo as well as the Ufizi, domed Synagogue and even distant hilltop Piazza Michelangelo.

The 1BR apartment was large at about 800sq. ft. Home-away-from-home amenities included a full sized appliance kitchen with new grill-microwave, washing machine,  dining room and LR with LCD TV and DVD player.

Location, location, location and this apartment had the best. Its central historic district location had us only one block from The David and three blocks from the Duomo. Just two blocks to San Marcos Piazza where buses to every part of  town could be found.  We easily walked from the apartment across historic Florence to the Ponte Veccio bridge.

Enjoy seeing the kind of leisure apartment living that is available these days at a super bargain price.
