So, when I heard that one of the few Best Buys in the country doing a midnight sale was going to be in Sterling, VA (right down the road from me), you knew I had to be there. :) |

The Galactic Senate's Sept 2004 meeting (September 18, 2004)| Woo-Hoo! Exciting meeting action shots! At least at this place (Ken2's house), they were less likely to kick us out (although we did forget to have him kick us all out, and let us back in again, at 10pm). Still a fun time. We had the double feature Bubba Ho-Tep & Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter (the best bad movie of all time!). Not much here, but if you want flashy, you can always go back to the Dragon*Con pics. :) These were also the first pics posted with my new digital camera (gotta love how cutting edge I am!). |

Dragon*Con 2004 (September 2-6, 2004)| This was my first Dragon*Con. I have to say, I was just slightly daunted by the expierence. You don't realize how big this thing is until you see that it truly does take up two (very large) hotels. And in spite of the lack of Caution Tape Girls (I knew they'd disapear the year I showed up), I had an absolute blast. I was overwhelmed. It was exhausting. And it was a lot of fun. I can't wait to go back for 2005! :) |

Star Wars NIH-Strathmore Benefit (August 13, 2004)| The GS was in Rockville, MD for a free screening of Star Wars. This was a lot more elaborate than I thought it'd be, and a lot of fun, too. I wish I'd thought to take a picture of the screen itself. It was a fair turnout. I think a lot of people wussed out becasue they though it was going to rain (hah!). |

Galactic Senate Meeting: July 2004 (July 24, 2004)After two games of bowling, we held the meeting. Valerie announced Jeff would be gone for a really long time. We will miss him while he is traveling around the country for almost a year (and getting paid for it!). However, the GS wishes him the best of luck!
We also managed to defile Mace Windu in way that will surely get us sued, and probably came close to getting thrown out of the bowling ally. In other words, a typical GS meeting. |
