        ~~~Von Holzland Deckerlines~~~
Concentrated on Deckerline's, always breeding for health,temperament, trainability, along with structure. Puppies that would do well as hunters, competition dogs or companion pets. Also with looks good enough to give some competition in the show ring.
I believed in quality and not quantity and this is why you would never see alot of dogs here at my kennel. I believed in spending equal quality time and training with each and every dog I had here. My goal was to breed a Deckerline w/ the qualities to be a great hunting dog, but would also be able to curl up in your home w/ you by the fireplace after the hunt.
I was always very critical of my breeding stock as well. Both male & female had to show me the qualities I wanted before I considered utilizing them in my breeding program. Of utmost importance, temperament, trainability along with correct conformation that will not inhibit them from doing the work they were bred to do.
My puppies and adults were registered with the NRTA registry. My Deckerlines were all bred to NRTA standards. Puppies came with a health guarantee, their first set of vaccines and wormings, and tails docked. Puppies were well socialized w/ adults, children and other animals, ie. other dogs, cats, horses, and depending on how long they were here they would be collar and leash broke, introduced to crate training and exposed to the woods and fields around my home.
Please check back from time to time for a visitand updates. I believe my goals were met in producing what I strived for here. Puppies all went to caring, loving homes and my puppies produced here put allot of smiles and happiness in peoples lives! Always a wonderful feeling! Hope you enjoy your visit! I may still occasionally offer puppies for sale, so make sure you visit from time to time if interested in a Decker you can say you are proud to own.
         ~~~Little Mountain Stables~~~
Here my daughter and I retrain OTTB's for show, trail and companion animals. For a fee I do let down of the X racer before going to their new home. My Security Officer position at Penn National Racecourse at Hollywood Casino has enabled me to make many new friends in the horse industry. Jockeys, Trainers and Owners of this noble breed the Thoroughbred. I have access to many fine horses that no longer want to race. The owners & trainers that I have come to know will come to me to help them find a home.
I myself have a wonderful gelding I was re-training for endurance until my daughter decided she wantedhim to show.
If you are at all interested in one of these fine athletes to retrain for your own Competition Sport Horse, Barrel Horse, Fox Hunter, Trail Mount,Companion Horse or Pet, please feel free to contact me.
Alot of these horses end up at auction and go for slaughter over seas to end up on someones dinner table. The trainers I work with are concerned about getting their horses in a good environment and not on someones dinner plate. Help give these fine athletes a second chance!It's amazing to see these horses transform once they leave track life. Most who haven't had the experience of being around an ottb after he has been let down don't know how truly wonderful these animals can be. It's best if they are let down by an experienced person like myself, but once the racetrack is out of them, you can expect a truly wonderful horse. Time and patience is the most important thing.
Thank you!
~~Jill~~

For The Love of Horses!
2. For The Love of Horses!  (October 21, 2005)
I've been involved with horses longer than I have dogs. I've been riding since I'm eight. Have owned my own horses since I was 12. I was involved in 4&H as a youngster.I also was involved w/ my daughter and her horses and acted as a 4-H leader when she was actively involved. I worked on a thoroughbred breeding farm for awhile when I was 20/21 which was a learning experience in itself. I work in Security at Penn National Racetrack @ Hollywood Casino now and have access to many Beautiful sound Thoroughbreds in need of 2nd careers. Contact me if interested!
I'm now involved with my daughter and retraining some OTTB's and w/ my sons' daughter, Katie w/ her love of horses.Here are some of our horses past and present. I hope to get some pics on my trailrides to add here eventually and also our available OTTB's.Enjoy!

Puppies for Sale & Sold
5. Puppies for Sale & Sold  (November 1, 2005)
You will find pups available in this folder and pics of puppies sold w/ their proud new owners and updates on them.
As Breeder of the pups I always RESERVE THE RIGHT to first pick male or female from each litter. Show and working homes also take priority in picks over pet homes. I strongly believe all my puppies produced here at Von Holzland will be wonderful no matter if they are first pick pup or last pup available. I'm confidant you'll be happy with your puppy.

Skyler Von Holzland
8. Skyler Von Holzland   (April 3, 2006)
Skyler is out of Dottie & Bronson. He has Deckerlines. His mature height is 17 in. and weight runs between 29 & 32 lbs. He has the nicest attitude and great, rich pigment. He has been a traveling dog with my daughter and has given the Deckers exposure in different areas.
Skyler's trainability is excellent! His structure and attitude is to die for and has great prey and hunt instincts. I couldn't be happier with him. His intelligence is something to brag about! He is a very obedient young dog and he learns so fast. He gets along well w/ everyone. We all just love this guy!
Bred by Jill Pastucka @ Von Holzland, Skyler is linebred 2,3-5,5 on Simons Pharoah.

My Pet Mini Rats Foxy & Zander
12. My Pet Mini Rats Foxy & Zander  (July 30, 2007)
Foxy & Zander are my mini pets. Foxy has had 2 litters of beautiful pups w/ an outside stud. I got Zander for breeding to her but unfortunately he hasn't met our standards for breeding so we have decided to retire our mini program and have them altered. They are our pets now and we love them both dearly. They really make us laugh and are clowns in dog costumes!

05-06 Football Season Josh Senior Yr.
15. 05-06 Football Season Josh Senior Yr.  (March 25, 2006)
This is my sons Senior year of F.B. he has a passion for this sport and hopes to continue his passion in college. Unfortunately alot of the good players in our school go unnoticed as we are such a small school in a very rural area, but he is prepared to walk on wherever he ends up going. He has been very dedicated and has always had very good work ethics for the sport. During off season he works out and lifts weights religiously. Here's to all the football fans!
