MN Pignic 2008
The Twin Cities Guinea Pig Rescue is proud to host the 9th Annual Minnesota Guinea Pig Pignic. The pignic is for all guinea pig owners and all prospective owners.
The event will be held at Garlough Park, located behind Garlough Elementary School. You can get directions to the park by using this address: 1740 Charlton Street, West Saint Paul, MN. The pignic will only be canceled in serious rain conditions or if it is below 62 degrees.
Many fun activities planned! The Veggie Eating Contest, Piggo Bingo, and Best of Show are all coming back this year.
Your guinea pigs may be brought to the pignic as long as they have been free of transmittable diseases, fungus or parasites for the last 6 months. Each family should bring their own pen for their guinea pigs. It is up to individual owners if they want their guinea pigs to interact with other pignic go-ers. Bring your pigs at your own discretion. Other species of animals brought to the pignic will be sent home. For the safety of the guinea pigs, please do not bring rabbits, dogs, ferrets or other animals.
Please bring! Your pigs, a pen and supplies for your pigs, chairs or blankets, your friends and family, and food to share!

Head to the right up the driveway, turn right and park as close to the end of the parking lot as possible.

Rux recommends you bring:
- Something to sit on, a blanket or chair
- A wagon (or bin) for hauling pens, pigs, and supplies. We will have a wagon at the pignic to transport from the car to the shelter.
- A pen that will keep your guineas safe and contained, a water bottle, a shelter, and anything else they may need to keep them comfortable.
- A camera! There are lots of fun moments you'll want to capture.
