Welcome to our Image Event Albums!

We are Ed and Carolyn Sunday, of Northeastern, Ohio. Ed grew up in the antique business helping out his mother and father. In the early 1950's, they had a general store, this is where they began their career as antique dealers. His dad was a jeweler, and watch restorer. They traveled around the midwest doing antique shows, and eventually, when Ed and I married in 1983, we carried on the family business. This has been our full time occupation ever since. Ed apprenticed with his father in basic jewelry repair, but where he really flourished was watch restoration. Vintage wrist and antique pocket watches are his first love. He has been repairing watches and jewelry now since the mid 1970's. I was drawn early on to fine antique jewelry and eventually attended GIA, (Gem Institute of America) where I earned my certifications in Diamonds, Diamond Grading, Colored Stones, and Gem Identification. We truly love this business, the ups and downs, the lean times and the times of plenty, the constant research, and most of all, the wonderful lifelong friends that we have made on this journey together.

Remember the past, enjoy the present, preserve for the future!

Charmed, I'm Sure...
5. Charmed, I'm Sure...

There are not too many women who can't remember their first piece of jewelry, and often it was a charm or starter charm bracelet. Charm bracelets have always been popular but women are no longer just attaching charms to their bracelets. They are becoming a little more clever by using pendants, cameos, single earrings, lockets, watch fobs, religious medals, and glass beads. Some are even using bizarre "found objects" like typewriter keys and sewing buttons, single button cuff links, dice, Scrabble tiles, and even Monopoly game pieces, to create unique and one of a kind bracelets. These highly personalized pieces become wearable art that mark all of the special times in our life and become a wonderful keepsake to pass on to the next generation. If you are interested in finding out more about charms there are a number of great research books, but we would recommend Charms and Charm Bracelets - The Complete Guide by Joanne Schwartz, and Charms to Collect by Marjorie Congram.

22. Rudy Boy- "It's Good To Be The King!"

This is our tom cat Rudy Boy, short for Evanrude (as in the outboard motor) because his purr is so loud. He "found" us, he was a stray who lived at the farm behind our house. Now we have shared custody with the neighbors. This little guy is spoiled rotten!
