This was the tenth annual retreat for spouses of rostered leaders in the South Carolina Synod. Our bishop's wife, Carolyn, has done a great job of organizing these retreats, and as we prepare for a transition to a new bishop, we thank Carolyn for her dedication to making these retreats happen for us. On Friday night we presented her with a scrapbook filled with notes of appreciation from all of us, and on Saturday afternoon, we surprised her with a "portrait" that is a counterpart to  one that was presented to our bishop recently. Thanks, Carolyn, with love from all of us!
