4 2.23.14 - Today found me & Maggie at the Bottoms'. Besides taking a look-see around the blinds, Maggie played around in the water and found a few sticks that needed to be drug out. Most important though, she paid her respects to her predecessor, MollyAnn. she then took her place as the ThorneSide Guard. The exact place where MollyAnn use to be.
5 2.24.14 - Me & Maggie discovered out lost dock float that was missing from when the Willow Hole blind flipped last year. It finally came home.
6 3.8.14 - Me & Maggie been riding around at Plantation Bottoms' in the Gator, just because....
7 3.8.14 - Maggie stuck her head under water today to get a stick. 1st time for that..
8 3.8.14 - Bobby Bob Cannon from over N.C. way gave us this sign to put up at Plantatin Bottoms'... you never know. We got to talking about ducks dissapearing and seeing "V"s in the water...
9 3.8.14 - I hung a gate on the south-west corner of our property so we can get on the far side of the Bottoms' without having to wait for the water to go down... this will be a big help, both in tractor work and hunting in ice.

155 7.30.14 - The Willow Hole Blind. We're going to fix it back up this year and hunt it. Its the warmest and easiest blind we ever had to hunt. Its claimed many ducks through the years. Its about 15 or 16yrs old. The wind flipped it over last year.

After it flipped in the wind 2 yrs ago in the spring and kinda messed up the frame a little, we haven't been able to hunt it.We got the floatation back under it last last year, but we weren't able to work on it in time for duck season. I promised myself that it would be back in action come this year. As its fairly new, built in 1998, its got a bunch more seasons left in it!
