1 This is Gilbert at the Charlotte Mechlenburg Animal Shelter - winning the hearts of all the staff! He is a 4 pound 4 ounze, Toy Fox Terrier.
2 This is Gilbert getting off his transport in Jacksonville, Florida. He looks very excited.

5 Gilbert, meeting some of his new friends. He most likely appears to be at the top of the age range due to his being a homeless stray, without adequate food or shelter for an undetermined period of time... and not being able to eat much due to four rotten teeth. He has recently had a dental, and is eating heartily. His appearance is improving daily - making him look younger than originally thought.
