Suzy is a beautiful and loving 6 yr old female rat terrier. Great with children and other dogs looking for loving forever home. Housebroken, great on a leash, loves the great outdoors.

2 FREEDOM!!!! Here is Suzy getting out of the shelter. Her freedom day has arrived.
3 Taking her first walk Here is Suzy arriving at home and out for her first walk with the girls out in the back along the canal.
4 Suzy's Home Suzy's first night after being pulled from the shelter. She is leashed to her area so she becomes familiarized with her "safe area".
5 Unsure Suzy Suzy was extremely shy/fearful when she arrived, but I gave her her space and time.

9 Suzy~Suzy She was so shocked to see all the large area that she was going to be able to play in. She was very scared to even walk around alone at first. **Look at those gorgeous spots!**
10 What??? Suzy was unsure of what a pool was and was confused and scared. I think that her foster sister the shih tzu taught her a few things.
11 Get the what? Here is her first outing and as you can see...she isn't too keen about chasing any ball. Who knew she was going to love this game.

15 A new human! Suzy got to meet my daughter who was visiting us for a few weeks. She was quick to greet to play with my daughter and my daughters dog.
16 Playtime Suzy was able to play with a collie and a shih tzu and she had a great time.
17 Who's Who? Here is the shih tzu, the collie and the rattie. Suzy still wanting to play.
18 Working Time Suzy feels it is her job to escort the human child wherever she goes even if it means running alongside her in her John Deere. : )
19 WorkWork There is work to be done and Suzy sure gets some exercise out of it.

27 You what? Suzy wants to play but the shih tzu is anti-social and will have none of that. Poor Suzy...she really wants to play!

29 Get Lost! The shih tzu gives her a low growl letting Suzy know to get lost. That's okay...she still has high spirits because she knows she will find someone to play with her.

31 Just Give Me a Chance Aww come on...just give me a chance. Let's play. The little shih tzu stood still and very firm and refused to play. She is so anti-social and truly believes she is human rather than a little dog. Playing with other dogs is beneath her! LoL.
32 Kiss Kiss? Not even a kiss convinced this gal to want to play with sweet Suzy.
33 Hanging Suzy just hung around with hopes that her little friend would change her mind and play with her. : (
34 Emergency!!! Oh No!!! The human child is upset! She sheds tears! Suzy to the rescue!!!!
35 Storms Off The human child storms off and cries and Suzy is torn about what to do.
36 Feeling your pain Suzy decides to stick with the human child as if she feels her pain. "If the human child cries and hides her face in the fence...I too shall!"
37 I'm your friend The crying child goes to sit near the garden and Suzy approaches her gently nuzzling her and letting her know she is there to love her.
38 High Alert! She stands guard over the weeping child protecting her in her time of need. Gotta love this little dog!!!
39 Occupied "Sorry Mom! Can't come. I'm taking care of the crying child. Be there when I'm finished."
40 A child's love... is like no other love in the world. A gentle innocent touch is worth a thousand lives for Suzy.
