Goodwood Revival 2006
On Saturday 2 September 2006, Frank, Pete and I went to the famous Goodwood Revival. A motor racing day with a difference, the event attempts to recapture the vibe of 1940s-1950s Goodwood race days so the cars and motorbikes are from this period - and so too, the sartorial style employed by the majority of the visitors!
Leaving things as usual to the very last minute (Friday) I managed to get hold of a 1940s WREN uniform. Pete and Frank were far more organised and had pre-ordered their costumes: Scottish dress (excluding their nether regions!).
