Robin, Virginia, Mary, and I have been attending the Pet Expo representing our Rat Terriers (and AHT's) for 12 years. Here we meet and greet the attendees and answer questions on our breed. We also participate in the AKC Parade of Breeds Showcase.
Each year the number who attend grows, with this year being the biggest ever.
It is a fun time as we get to introduce people to our beloved Rat Terriers, let them socialize with our dogs and puppies, and also promote responsible ownership while trying to assist in placing some of the dogs in breed rescue. |
