I (Donna Sullivan) of Pawzatively Canine has been involved in the sport of dogs beginning with my participation as a youth in 4-H programs. My love of animals, especially dogs, has evolved over the years. I attend numerous canine educational seminars and clinics annually to expand my knowledge and understanding of the Dog Fancy.
I am the founder, former President and member of the American Rat Terrier Association (UKC National parent club), former Vice President and member of the Rat Terrier Club of America (AKC national parent club), founder, former President and member of the Apple Valley Rat Terrier Club, member of the following UKC clubs: the American Pit Bull Terrier Club of New England, the New England Pullers Association, the American Eskimo Dog Club of New England, and the Performance Events Trials and Shows.
I am a UKC Event Manager, UKC Field Representative, UKC Terrier Race judge, and a UKC Junior Showmanship judge. I am currently working to earn my Weight Pull judging license.
I have been breeding, handling and raising Rat Terriers since 1992. Many of my dogs have earned prestigious top UKC honors such as Top Ten Best of Breed, National Specialty Award of Merits, as well as Grand Champion and Champion conformation titles, Champion titles in Flat and Steeple Terrier Racing, and Champion titles in Weight Pull. Recently I added the American Hairless Terrier to my personal kennel program.
