Red Sox Vs. Seattle
| Hi guys! Never ever a dull moment when we see a Red Sox game. In the first inning Coco Crisp hit the third pitch right at us. I had just taken out the camera (also consumed a good amount of adult beverages) SO I reach up to catch the ball or one of them :). The ball hits me in the wrist then bounces off a friend two seats to my right. (I think that is what happened it could have hit her then me but I don't think so) After the ball came to rest with the friend in front of me, (big bus trip group) I looked and realized the ball hit the girl square in the nose and blood was everywhere. She ended up seeing 1/2 an inning and got to visit the First Aid station they talk about all the time on NESN and a trip to the ER. She did end up getting the ball and other friend ended up losing the ball. That had to be the scariest thing I have seen at Fenway. Our friend is fine, well as fine as you can be with a broken nose, a cut from the impact and a story she will never forget. No I do not have pictures of the blood but I did get pictures of the game. So now that I shared the story here are some game pictures. I used my video camera to show the hit and us all jumping for the ball. |
