Fleet Week 2008
My "little" brother Gary's ship (The USS Leyte Gulf) was docked in NY for Fleet Week this year, and I got to spend one of his days of liberty with him. His friend Rich joined us. After a tour of the ship, we headed to the Statue of Liberty, followed by FAO Scwhartz and Central Park, and ended the day with dinner at Brother Jimmy's and drinks with Bill at Waterfront . All in all, it was a very great (if exhausting) day, and I was proud to see so many New Yorkers show the respect these sailors deserved!
