Sigma SD9 vs Fuji S2 Pro

Sekonic L308 B meter, exposure 1/350 sec F1:8.0

Sigma SD9 w. Sigma EX 15-30/3.5-4.5 ASF DG, focal lenght 30 mm, standard factory settings, auto white balance, image quality HI, manual exposure as above. Images processed in Sigma Pro software as "custom" std. settings, only slight levels adjustment, saving the files as Adobe RGB and S-RGB.

Fuji Finepix S2 Pro w. Nikkor AIS 50/1.4, STD curve setting, auto white balance, image quality RAW. Manual exposure as above. Images processed in Fuji Raw file converter EX, custom setting, standard curve, custom white balance setting: Standard light source FINE, std. sharpness, custom color setting std., sensitization + 2/3, files processed as Adobe RGB and Exif S-RGB.

Leica R4, Summicron R 2.0/90, Fujichrome Provia F, Nikon Coolscan 4000

(Since I thought my slide looks pin sharp in a loupe, I was annoyed with the soft/fuzzy Nikon LS4000 scan, and so I scanned the same slide with an Imacon Precision scanner - The result looks clearly better, although the shadows are totally shut - The tonality though surprisingly more like Fuji S2)
