Majuro (April 1st 2005)| Pictures of diving at Majuro and Arno Atolls on way to Bikini. This was my first stop in the Marshall Islands on the way to Bikini Atoll and an extended one as we had problems with the inter-island flights here. Diving was exceptional. |

USS Saratoga, Bikini Atoll (April 2nd 2005)| This is an INCREDIBLE Wreck to dive. It is complete with everything on board including planes, bombs, torpedos, munitions, missiles, etc... It appears that they expected to return to the ship after the Baker Blast. Ovens were on at 350 with turkeys in them. |

HIJMS Nagato, Bikini Atoll (April 2nd 2005)| A DARK wreck. She was "miss treated" after the war. It sucked all the light from my twin SB-105 strobes + HID light. This wreck does not appear to want to be photographed. Dive #2 on the Nagato brought me more problems with the flashes. None the less, I got these pictures. |

USS Lamson, Bikini Atoll (April 2nd 2005)| The USS Lamson was hit by a Kamakase aircraft in the bridge area. Most officers and about 1/4 of her total crew were killed in this attack. It's a bieutifull wreck to dive, sitting upright. |

Historical footage & Pictures (25th of July 1946)The Baker blast was detonated 90 feet (27 meters) underwater on 25 July 1946 as part of operation Crossroads at Bikini Atoll.
The footage probably originates from national archives. Edited from C. Storey 2005. |
