These were introduce in 1973. serial number ranges from 1973-75. 16" wide, thin body, bass side cutaway rounded similar to ES 335, treble side cutaway similar more pointed like Les Paul Standard (solid body), 2 oblong low impedance humbucking pickups with white covers,4 knobs (volume, treble tone, midrange tone, in/out phase switch) 3 way selector on upper bass bout, 2 jacks (high impedance on top. low impedance on rim), large rectangular tune-o-matic bridge, bound rosewood finger board, trapezoid inlay, sunburst or gold finish. Introduced 1973, Rectangular pickups embossed Gibson mod 1974. Discontinued 1978. |
