Fender P Bass 1965

Very light weight P Bass from 1965. Neck date is 5th Oct 65C denoting a wide neck profile. Weight only 8lbs with bridge cover fitted.
Body was refinished many years ago. Previous (pro player) owner has had the bass since 1968. Neck needed a re-fret desperately when I got the bass. I had a great pro re-fret and neck re-lacquer done. Check out the flame in the neck. It now looks and plays superb. I have left the body as is. I think it looks cool but an easy refin in your chosen colour if you like. Comes in a newer Fender Hard Case. I think one changed pot (but not sure) and missing the ashtray pickup cover. Otherwise all there. |
