This is a new piece of furniture...it had lots of strokework flowers/scene on the front...sanded all that off, matched the existing faux finish and painted the palm tree on the front.

The table was a new oak table..The client used a dark stain on the base..

I used berry red and a burnt carmine glaze to do the faus finish on the outside rim of the table..The clients ceiling in the room is the red color.

This is the top half of a bed post...I wanted to bring out the pineapple design..I used lots of washes on the pineapple to give it depth..

An old overnight case I painted leopard print and a palm tree on...the background of this piece was wonderful..the perfect raw sienna  color...loved it.I wanna keep it..

Poinsettia painted on a wooden charger. The rim is done in the faux red finish with renaissan foil in patches around the outside band and all the way round the inside rim.

Pods taken off the palm tree at my beachhouse....I left them in their natural state only cleaned and varnished them....They are so unusual...what an unusual piece of art....
