Wayyyy back in the mid-90s I was looking to change jobs and I also happened to be hanging out at Hooters a lot. I figured that if I airbrushed tee shirts for the girls I was friendly with, it would guarantee that they'd get noticed. A lot of cute gals got free tees, but I got zero paying jobs as a result. Recently one of the gals told me about her day job painting murals on Kid's rooms walls. She then asked if I was at all artistic. I was insulted that she didn't recall the shirt that I had airbrushed for her. To add injury to insult, she then asked if I'd make another one for her. I must be stooopid, but I'm actually doing it. I'll use my talent to promote her day job. I start with shading gray and do the outline of a brown shoed, uncool, unbending parent. |
