22 Dave Horvath They were used to pull logs out of the woods. The old timer who owns them says he still has plans to use the first one "runs well and doesn't burn any oil". He says "it got away from us one time and rolled over the hill". The second one is his parts truck.

Thought you might be interested in a few shots of one of mine PW:s I got. This one is as you can se, a Fargo PW. It’s from 46 or 47, I’m not sure. It’s coming from the Swedish army from the beginning, they used it as a “winch truck” and use to have a huge winch on the bed. The truck need some “minor adjustments”…..

This truck I bought from John Scott who ran the Military Museum in Clackamas Oregon. I haven't figured out yet its war story but do know it was overseas at one time. then was a logging equipment repair vehicle for 20 + years in Oregon and Washington. It now has a 2 speed Tcase, 12 volt generator out of a Chrysler powered Forklift. And the other change is a heater. all new wiring, my secret cam grind for lots of torque! I will send more pics when the bed gets refurbished.

1947 WDX. I am currently rebuilding a straight six out of an M37 for it. Will probably just replace the motor, tires and brakes and drive it like it is!
| 33 Bruce Mitchell WC-53 Carryall
I purchased the Carryall in Wyoming. It is now up in British Columbia Canada . The basic plan will be to do a diesel conversion, dana 60 with locker up front, dana 60 or 70 with a locker in the rear, steel floor,5 or 6 speed and to keep the body as stock as is reasonable . This will not be a show truck, I am building it to use and enjoy. No paint plans yet but I am planning on getting the body redi stripped and will paint all the metal- even the areas the factory missed.

The B1 is a 1948 that I found in Montana. It sat for about 15 years and I freed up the engine and it fired up right away. I have a later synchro transmission with a PTO and the bumpers and extensions and winch that I intend to put on soon.

This is my fire engine brush truck which I found in Salem, Indiana. This is a totally original truck which I took out of service as I am the second owner. It still has the original rubber on the road. It is a 1966 with 6200 original miles and it runs very well. My local fire dept invited me down to see if the pump works and it does. yea!

Dave Skelly's (DaveS) Carryall
I finally got my family’s Dodge carryall painted and on the road! This vehicle has been in my family since 1946. My Dad traded/sold two Ford jeeps and bought the carryall as the family vehicle when he lived in N. California after he was discharged from the army in 1946. In the winter of 1949, he, my mother, and oldest sister drove the carryall from N. CA to N. MN, where both of my parents were originally from. This truck was family car, truck, and sometime tractor for my Dad until 1985, when I took possession of the truck. It was shipped via contract auto carrier from N. MN to W. MD, where I was living. I started restoration in 1986, but it was a definite amateur restoration (cover all rust and dents with Bondo). Five years ago, I got serious and restarted the restoration. While there are still some dents in the truck, the rust has been removed and little Bondo has been us...
