This is a small portion of the more than 1,500 magazine and web features that I have produced since 1990. My byline has appeared in the US in Motor Trend, Car and Driver, Road & Track, Road & Track Specials (Ferrari), Cars and Parts, Chevy Enthusiast (as Editor), Musclecar Enthusiast, Mustang Enthusiast, Pontiac Enthusiast, Corvette Enthusiast, Mopar Enthusiast, Muscle Car Review, Truck Trend, Mustang Monthly, Car Audio and Electronics (as Editor), and many other publications. In the UK my work has appeared in Octane, Classic and Sports Car, Thoroughbred and Classic Car, Total 911, Total 911 Specials (premium bookazine) Mercedes Enthusiast, Classic Mercedes, Jaguar World, Classic American, Practical Caravan, and Discover Touring. My work has also appeared in European publications in France, Germany, Italy, Romania and Russia. I have also contributed to InCar Entertainment in Australia since 1998.

enlarge 1.55MB, 557x756 66 USA 2004 Corvette In Europe Corvette Enthusiast.pdf Quite honestly, this is what I want to be doing more of, authomotive-focused road trips with a theme and purpose, that are a bit out of the box. Like many auto US enthusiasts I've long wondered what it would be like to let a new Corvette loose on the autobah so while attending the 2004 Geneva Motor Show for Motor Trend Online, I arranged a vehilcle loan with with GM's Corvette and cadillac importer, Kroymann's, in The Netherlands and drove it from Amsterdam to Geneva and back, picking up one speeding ticket along the way. On the Autobahn between Baden-Baden and Karlsruhe I was able to get this particular Corvette up yo an indicated 182 MPH (at night) legally on an unsrestricted section of the A6 Autobahn, later documenting it in daytime, at 180 MPH although Corvette Enthusiast magazine decided against using that particular photograph, using a shot of the speedometer indicating "ONLY" 170 MPH.

enlarge 651KB, 695x921 88 UK Muscle Car Tour Classic American.pdf I believe this to be the best example of what I provide my editors, a universal concept that translates well in any language. The story was commissioned by Musclecar Enthusiast in the fall of 2002 and it took a while to assemble four representative muscle cars (one from each manufacturer; AMC, Chrysler, Ford and GM) and plan a day-long tour of car culture spots frequented by "car guys" back in the sixties, when classic American muscle cars rules street and strip. I think it's amazing that Classic American's art director Tony Crowther perfectly captured exactly what I was trying to say with this material, working with the same images as the other art directors, each who brought their own perspective to the piece.
